The first project of China McDonald's Uncle's Home Charity Fund in China-ronald mcdonald house Children's Center and ronald mcdonald house Foster Family Village was established in Tianjin earlier this month. The Duchess of York, McDonald's Goodwill Ambassador for World Children's Day, visited the foster families in Tianjin Children's Welfare Institute. Each foster family consists of a pair of parents with parenting experience and up to five orphans and disabled children. The first batch of funds from this fund will provide financial support for children's welfare institutions that Half the Sky Charity Organization cooperates with in China. In the next five years, the plan will be extended to nine other cities.
