Liu Ying’s research direction

Animal anatomy and histology, animal neuroanatomy.

The main research directions are animal anatomy and histoembryology.

He has long been engaged in research on the physiological anatomy of yak and Bactrian camels, as well as the neuroanatomy of chickens.

Mainly conducted research on the neuron positioning of the chicken digestive system and the ultrastructure and blood vessel architecture of the yak lung.

For the first time, the neuroanatomical relationship of various organs in the chicken digestive tract was systematically studied, and the positioning rules of neurons in the chicken digestive tract were discovered.

Horseradish peroxidase labeling technology was used to study the origin and distribution of chicken intestinal nerves, filling the research gap in this area.

He has presided over and completed more than ten scientific research projects of various types, including projects of the Ministry of Education, Gansu Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, and Gansu Provincial Department of Personnel projects.

The project "Research on the Innervation of the Sympathetic Trunk and Crop of Chicken Supracoeloma - HRP Method" that he presided over was considered by experts in the field to have reached the leading level of similar research at home and abroad, and won the third prize of the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
