What does it mean to place the new fund in proportion?
Many new funds will set a raising limit when raising funds, especially in a bull market, because raising too much money is not necessarily a good thing, which means that the cost of opening positions will be higher and the time for opening positions will be longer, which may delay the best time for opening positions. Proportional placement will be implemented when the funds raised by the new fund reach the fund raising limit. What is proportional placement?

Proportional placement is to allocate the shares of the new fund to the basic people according to the ratio of the maximum fund limit to the total subscription amount.

There is a formula for calculating the placement ratio:

Placement ratio = limited fund offering scale/total number of effective subscription applications during the raising period 100%.

For example, the raising limit of a new fund is 5 billion yuan, and Xiao Zhang subscribes 654.38+10,000 yuan. In the end, the total subscription amount of the fund reached 8 billion yuan, which triggered a proportional placement. The placing ratio is 62.5%, and Xiao Zhang can finally confirm that the subscription amount is 65438+ 10,000 yuan x 62.5% = 6.25 yuan.

Through the placement ratio, investors can know how much subscription amount they have finally confirmed.

There is also a special case of fund proportional placement, that is, the effective subscription amount on the penultimate day of the fund raising period will be fully confirmed, and only the effective subscription application on the last day of the fund raising period will be placed in proportion to the remaining amount.

Confirmation ratio of doomsday subscription application = (limited fund offering scale-effective subscription application before doomsday subscription during subscription period)/effective subscription application at doomsday.

Unconfirmed funds will be returned to investors in the same way after the end of the fundraising period.
