20 15, 10, 17 On June 7, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the Notice on Further Giving Full Play to the Supporting Role of Residential Special Maintenance Funds in the Renovation of Old Residential Areas and Elevators (No.52 issued by the Ministry of Construction [2015]). Under the framework of current policies and regulations, the Notice explores the establishment of a multi-party financing mechanism for the renovation of old residential areas and elevators by clarifying the scope and target focus of maintenance funds, refining the emergency use system, and innovating the voting rules of owners.
