In 2003, TNT and the World Food Program jointly launched "Walking Between Heaven and Earth", aiming to call people's attention to the global hunger problem and raise funds to support hungry children in poor areas of the world. In the past 10 year, donations raised by TNT in China provided school lunches and nutritious meals for children in Cambodia, China, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces through the World Food Program and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. TNT also co-sponsored the "TNT Future Star Sichuan Post-disaster Education Assistance Project" (referred to as "TNT Future Star") with the China Youth Development Foundation. Since the project started at the end of 2008, TNT has built a "TNT Future Star" Hope Primary School in Jinxian Township, Yuanba District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, and set up a "Future Star" library in 30 primary and secondary schools, donating nearly 40,000 books. At the same time, TNT funded 300 high school students in Gansu disaster area to complete their studies through the "Star of the Future" scholarship. On June 20 12, the second phase of "TNT Future Star" project was launched, including funding teacher training, setting up student scholarships, teachers' gardening awards, etc. In addition, from 2006 to 20 1 1, TNT funded more than 1000 AIDS orphans in Yunnan through the "Orange Love Heaven" project to help them receive education and ensure their basic needs.
5. After the12 earthquake, TNT China immediately launched a series of rescue operations. TNT China cooperated closely with four charitable organizations, namely china charity federation, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, China Youth Development Foundation and China Children and Teenagers Foundation, and delivered a large amount of relief materials from all parts of the country to the disaster areas quickly through the huge land transportation network and transportation fleet of Tianhua, a wholly-owned land transportation company in China. In addition, TNT also used its Boeing 747 transport plane to finance the transportation of foreign relief materials to the disaster-stricken areas in Sichuan. It is estimated that the total amount of relief materials transported by TNT's fleet and aircraft will exceed 2300 tons. As of May 27th, TNT and its employees have provided transportation and rescue support and fund-raising for this disaster relief, and the total amount has exceeded RMB 6 million.
