Introduction to Laoshe Literature Award
Lao She Literature Award is a literary award founded by Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Lao She Literature and Art Foundation on 1999. It mainly rewards the creation of Beijing authors and outstanding works published in Beijing, and is selected once every two to three years. Lao She's literary awards include novels, novellas, plays, movies, TV dramas and radio dramas. The third new talent award. Laoshe Literature Award is the highest prize in Beijing literary and art circles, and it is also called the four major literary awards in China together with Mao Dun Literature Award, Lu Xun Literature Award and Cao Yu Drama Literature Award.
