The following is the experience sharing of British stock trading:
(1) First, let’s talk about how to open an account?
As long as you have a bank card or online banking, you can apply for an account called investment account in online banking (I am HSBC, other banks may be different). After a few days of waiting (about 5 (about days) will be ready for use. Of course, investment accounts are divided into two categories, one is ordinary, and the other is advanced. The difference is that in the ordinary account, you can directly conduct stock transactions without transferring money. The bank will transfer your investment from your card. It takes about 2-3 days for the money to arrive in this account. For advanced accounts, you must first transfer money before you can invest. Of course, the upper limit of the advanced investment amount is twice the ordinary amount. However, I personally recommend that novices use ordinary ones. Firstly, it is convenient, and secondly, when they see any good investment objects, they can start immediately without waiting. Of course, advanced also has its advantages. In terms of handling fees, advanced will be relatively cheaper.
(2) The issue of handling fees:
When you buy a stock, you will be charged transaction fee = 12.95 (fixed each time) plus a stamp fee (based on The total price of your purchase is calculated) Similarly, when you sell a stock, a transaction fee of 12.95 is charged. Except for some stocks that do not charge stamp fees, 90% of them will charge. Due to the existence of fees (and they are relatively high), it is possible to buy or sell a large number of shares at once to reduce costs during transactions.
(3) The difference between British stocks and Chinese stocks:
Once you place your stock (whether buying or selling), you cannot withdraw the bid on the same day, so before buying or selling Please consider clearing. Another difference is that stocks bought on the same day can be sold on the same day. Finally, when you make a profit on a stock, you have to pay a capital gain tax.
Of course, the opening time of British stocks is different from that of China, and trading is delayed by 15 minutes!
