The exploration area is located in the direction of 357, 22.5 kilometers away from Miyi County. Xiajiaping ore section is located at 23.8 kilometers in the direction of 355 in Miyi County. The traffic conditions in the area are convenient. chengdu-kunming railway, Chengpan Expressway and 2 14 Provincial Highway (Yonglang-Panzhihua) pass through the east side of the exploration area from north to south, and the surrounding towns are connected by simple highways. This area is a multi-ethnic area, located at the border between Han and Yi people. It belongs to Miyi subtropical climate, with short frost period and average temperature of 17.0℃.
From 20 10 to 20 13, Sichuan coalfield geology bureau 137 team carried out field geological work. The exploration mineral is Panzhihua-type vanadium-titanium magnetite, and the work level is general survey. The exploration funds are: 58.6 million yuan from the provincial geological prospecting fund and 20.6 million yuan from the central geological prospecting fund.
(2) Brief introduction of achievements
Baima vanadium-titanium magnetite belongs to late magmatic abnormity and occurs in Baima rock mass in layered and lenticular form. It consists of 10 ore body (numbered ①, ②, ③, ④, ⑦, ⑧, ⑨, ⑩ from bottom to top) and sporadic small ore bodies. It starts from Yangjiagou, Cida Township, Duan Dechang, Xiajiaping Mine in the north, reaches the F 1 fault in Dengjiaji, Baima Township, Miyi County in the south, reaches the F 1 fault in Hejiaping Mine Section in the north, and reaches the F8 fault in Tian Jiacun, Baima Township in the south. The total length along the strike is about 3600 meters, and the strike is north-south-northwest, with an inclination angle of 450 ~ 780, which is gentle in the shallow part and steep in the deep part. The exposed elevation of ore body is1616 ~ 2320 m; The elevation of the center point of the ore body controlled by sidetracking is 344 ~1880m. The orebodies in Hejiaping ore block are continuously distributed, with stable thickness and little change in grade, but the continuity of Xiajiaping ore block is poor, especially in the north of P4 line, with only sporadic small orebodies and poor mineralization. Faults and dikes are developed in this area, F8, F5 and F 1 have great damage to the ore body, and the floor of the ore body is often eroded by gabbro pegmatite, which is in direct contact with the pre-Sinian metamorphic rocks in Xiajiaping ore block.
Through the control of drilling engineering arranged by general survey, in the stage of provincial geological prospecting funds, the iron ore resources in Hejiping mine section increased by (3.33) 683 million tons, with an average grade of 2 1. 14%, TiO 23 1.5895 million tons, with an average grade of 4.89% and V2O5/kloc-0. Xiajiaping ore block added (3.33) 2800 tons of iron ore resources, with an average grade of 25.28%, TiO 2 1627500 tons, with an average grade of 5.94%, V2O56.56 tons, with an average grade of 0.24%, and (3.34) 2800 tons of iron ore resources, with an average grade of 23.69%. At the stage of central geological prospecting fund, the iron ore resources in Hejiping mine section increased by (3.34) 20 million tons, with an average grade of 15.93%, TiO 2,749,800 tons, with an average grade of 5.3 1%, V2O5,233,300 tons and an average grade of 0.14%. There are 27 million tons (334 places) of iron ore resources in Xiajiaping ore block, with average grade of 14.67%, TiO _ 21146700 tons, average grade of 5.65%, V2O52.76 tons and average grade of 0.1kloc. The resource reserves have passed the examination.
