China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA), established in 1989, is a national poverty alleviation public welfare organization registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs and headed by the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office. It is one of the large-scale and influential non-profit organizations in the field of poverty alleviation in China.
Over the past 28 years, the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation has been widely recognized by the public through good internal governance, project management and social performance, and its social influence has been continuously improved.
In 2007 and 20 13, it was rated as the highest 5A foundation in the national foundation rating organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
