Sichuan University is located in Wuhou District, Chengdu. Sichuan University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is a high-level research-oriented comprehensive university that is a key national construction project in western China. It is a national "double first-class" university.

Sichuan University has a complete range of disciplines, covering 12 categories including liberal arts, science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, law, history, philosophy, agriculture, education and art, and has 36 subject-based colleges ( Department) and Overseas Education College and other colleges.
