On the morning of September 9, 2022, Weijiaqiao Town, Shaodong City held the 2022 "Wu" Education Foundation Outstanding Poverty Alleviation Award and Teacher's Day Commendation Conference to commend a group of outstanding students and teachers. "Wu" Education Foundation was established by Wu Faqi, a rural sage and retired teacher in Chongkou Village, Weijiaqiao Town, Shaodong City, with the aim of rewarding the excellent and helping the poor and supporting the development of education in Weijiaqiao Town. At the commendation meeting, 20 college students admitted to "985" and "2 1 1" double-class universities, 18 outstanding primary and secondary school students and 15 outstanding teachers were commended by the Party Committee and government of Weijiaqiao Town, Shaodong City. Only two first-class universities will be commended, but ordinary universities will not.
