Through years of research, the in-situ culture technology of AM mycorrhizal fungi and the determination method of fungal biological characteristics were established. Among them, the omentum compartment method, which is used to quantitatively study the nutrient absorption potential of mycelium, was included in the research tool book Mycorrhizal Research Technology written by Professor S.Smith, an international authoritative mycorrhizal expert and academician of Australian Academy of Sciences, and was widely adopted by international mycorrhizal research peers, which promoted the development of mycorrhizal mechanism research. The main mechanism of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi activating insoluble phosphorus in soil was clarified. It is proved that arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi have the ability to secrete protons, activate insoluble phosphorus in mycelium soil, and secrete phosphatase to activate organophosphorus, indicating that arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi have great potential in assisting plants to effectively utilize scarce nutrient pools such as potential insoluble phosphorus in soil. This paper reveals the universality that hyphal bridges can be formed between underground plants of the same species and different plants, expounds the bidirectional characteristics of phosphorus, carbon and nitrogen nutrient transfer between the same species and different plants through hyphal bridges, quantifies the nutrient transfer potential of hyphal bridges between clover-ryegrass and corn-soybean systems, and expounds the material transfer function and important ecological significance of hyphal bridges in natural ecosystems. Use transfer Ri? TDNA carrot root organ sterile culture technique successfully completed the sterile culture of mycorrhizal fungi under artificial culture for the first time, and systematically studied the biological characteristics of mycorrhizal fungi; According to the investigation of polluted soil vegetation, most plants can form mycorrhiza. Detailed research shows that the formation of mycorrhiza can obviously improve the adaptability of plants to polluted environment, and it is confirmed for the first time that the arsenic-enriched plant Pteris vittata can improve the bioremediation efficiency of arsenic pollution after forming mycorrhiza with specific mycorrhizal fungi. The collection of arbuscular mycorrhizal true germplasm resources in extreme environment in China was initially established, and efficient strains suitable for various crops were screened out, showing the broad application prospect of safe and pollution-free mycorrhizal biotechnology in production. According to the management mechanism of water and nitrogen balance, considering the characteristics of crop nutrient demand and soil nutrient supply, an expert system for nitrogen regulation in pollution-free vegetable production was developed, which provided a new method for reasonable regulation of water and nutrients in pollution-free vegetable production.

In recent years, he has successively presided over research projects such as the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars, major projects of the National Natural Science Fund, general projects of the National Natural Science Fund, outstanding young teachers fund of the State Education Commission, national public relations and international cooperation. More than 200 papers have been published, of which more than 40 papers have been included by SCI, and 6 professional works have been edited and edited. 1992 won the first prize of research category of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation of the State Education Commission, and enjoyed special government allowance in the same year; 1994 won the first prize of scientific and technological progress of the State Education Commission 1995 won the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars 1996 was selected as the first batch of "100 million talents project" of the Ministry of Personnel 1997 won the title of young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions from the Ministry of Agriculture, and won the special prize of Baosteel Education Fund 65438+200 1 Beijing in the same year.
