The national grant is to show the concern of the party and the government for students from poor families in ordinary undergraduate colleges, higher vocational colleges and junior colleges. Funded jointly by the central and local governments, it is used to subsidize full-time students with financial difficulties in ordinary undergraduate colleges (including higher vocational colleges and second bachelor's degrees).
Starting from the fall semester of 20 10, the central and local governments set up state grants to help students from poor families in ordinary high schools, accounting for about 20% of the total number of ordinary high school students in China, including 10% in the eastern region, 20% in the central region and 30% in the western region. State grants are assessed once every academic year. Before September 30th every year, students apply to the university, and the university completes the evaluation before June165438+1October 15 of that year. State grants are distributed every year in 10 months, and universities distribute state grants to aided students every month.
Grant type
