The main contributions of Florence Nightingale (the founder of nursing and the founder of modern nursing education):

1. Established the Nursing School

On June 24, 1860, Nightingale used the huge sum of money donated by people from all walks of life in the UK in recognition of her merits as the "Nightingale Fund" in St. Thomas, London. Maas Hospital establishes the "Nightingale Nurse Training School".
