Mabi Central Primary School, the predecessor of Lianjiang No.4 Middle School, was founded in 1958. At that time, it was located in Yingxian Palace, Mabihengcuo, and there were only two classes. 1960, the school is located at the southern foot of Dading Mountain, that is, the current site, named Lianjiang No.4 Middle School, with 4~6 junior high schools. Due to the Cultural Revolution, the school developed slowly. 197 1, the school established a high school and upgraded it to a middle school to accept students from Mabi, Guanban, Kengyuan and Changlong. 1In August, 986, according to the needs of adjusting school goals and developing vocational education in Lianjiang County, the school changed Gaopu into a vocational high school for finance and economics, and began to accept two classes of vocational high schools every year. 1995 according to the county government's layout adjustment plan and the needs of the development of nine-year compulsory education, the school abolished vocational high schools and changed them into junior high schools.
