What materials does the road traffic accident rescue fund need?
1. The medical institution shall apply to the local rescue fund management institution for the unsettled rescue expenses within 10 working days (generally within 72 hours from the time of rescue) from the date of the victim's rescue.
2. Need relief fund to advance funeral expenses, the close relatives of the victim shall submit a written application for advance to the relief fund management institution on the strength of the "Notice of Body Disposal" issued by the traffic management department and its identity certificate.
3. For the dead or injured who have no owner or can't confirm their identity, the medical institution or funeral service institution responsible for the rescue shall submit a written application for advance payment with the relevant certification materials issued by the traffic control department.
How does the traffic accident rescue fund work?
According to the regulations, the Provincial Public Security Department is the competent department of the province's road traffic accident relief fund, responsible for formulating specific measures for the management of the province's relief fund, determining the relief fund management organization according to law, supervising and inspecting the collection, advance payment and recovery of the relief fund according to law, entrusting an accounting firm to audit the annual financial accounting report of the relief fund according to law, and handling the illegal acts of the relief fund management organization and staff according to law.
The Traffic Management Bureau of the Provincial Public Security Department is the relief fund management institution, and its main responsibilities are:
(a) to raise relief funds according to law;
(two) to accept and review the application for advance payment and pay the advance payment according to law;
(3) Recovering the advance payment according to law;
(4) Other duties of managing the relief fund.
The traffic administrative department of the public security organ of a city or county (city, district) divided into districts or the highway traffic administrative department of the public security organ at the same level (hereinafter referred to as "the traffic administrative department of the public security organ") is responsible for notifying the organizer to use the relief fund to advance the rescue expenses and funeral expenses of the victims in accordance with the regulations, and assisting the relief fund management institution to recover the advance expenses.

Article 42 If a road traffic accident happens to a vehicle insured with compulsory motor vehicle traffic accident liability insurance, the insurance company shall pay the rescue expenses for rescuing the injured.
