The responsibilities of the fund custodian include
Responsibilities of the fund custodian:

1. Safely keep all assets of the fund;

2. Implement the investment instructions of the fund manager and handle fund transactions in the name of the fund;

3. Supervise the investment operation of fund managers. If it is found that the investment instruction of the fund manager is illegal, it will not be implemented and will be reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission;

4. Check and review the fund net asset value and fund price calculated by the fund manager;

5. Keep the accounting books and records of the fund for more than 15 years;

6. Publish fund performance report, provide fund custody information and report to China Securities Regulatory Commission and China People's Bank;

7. Articles of association of the fund or fund contract and custody.

What are the conditions of the fund custodian?

1, with a special fund department.

2. The paid-in capital is not less than 8 billion yuan;

3. There are enough full-time personnel familiar with the custody business;

4. Have the conditions for safe custody of all assets of the fund;

5. Have safe and efficient liquidation and delivery capabilities.

Legal basis: Article 5 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Securities Investment Fund Law.

The debts of the fund property shall be borne by the fund property itself, and the fund share holders shall be liable for the debts of the fund property to the extent of their capital contribution. However, if the fund contract has other provisions in accordance with this Law, such provisions shall prevail.

Fund property is independent of the inherent property of fund managers and fund custodians. Fund managers and fund custodians may not classify fund property as their inherent property.

Property and income obtained by fund managers and fund custodians due to the management and use of fund property or other circumstances shall be classified as fund property.

If a fund manager or fund custodian is liquidated due to dissolution, cancellation or bankruptcy according to law, the fund property does not belong to its liquidation property.
