Taiwan Teresa Teng Cultural and Educational Foundation was established in June 1995, June 10 and June 14 respectively, with donations from China TV Station, Polaroid Records Company and Taurus Records Company. Miss Teresa Teng died suddenly of asthma in Chiang Mai, Thailand on May 8th. 1995. Miss Deng's singing career spread all over China and Japan. Her sweet singing has warmed the hearts of countless overseas Chinese, and her help to Chinese at home and abroad is even more impressive. Her people and her singing deeply touched the hearts of all China people. The Foundation will carry forward Miss Deng's wishes and make contributions to the society.
