This is not the first time that the company has invested in Topcon photovoltaic cell project. On February 30, 2020, 65438+ announced that it had reached a cooperation intention with Leshan City to invest in a photovoltaic cell production base project with an annual output of 10GW, with a planned total investment of 4.3 billion yuan.

The total investment is 8 billion, which will be built in two phases.
According to the announcement, GCL's integrated projects include battery projects and supporting industries, of which the total investment in battery projects is 8 billion yuan (including working capital) and the total investment in fixed assets is about 6.5 billion yuan. "The project is planned in a unified way, and it will be built by stages. From 2022 to 2024, it will be invested and built in two years, each period 10GW".
According to the implementation progress of the battery project, the supporting industries will introduce relevant supporting industrial chain enterprises that meet the industrial orientation and safety and environmental protection requirements of the park, including but not limited to: photovoltaic silver-aluminum paste, battery screen, photovoltaic components, glass, etc.
The photovoltaic cell project covers an area of about 1 1,000 mu, which is developed and constructed in stages. The first phase covers an area of about 500 mu (subject to the actual measurement). The people's government of Wuhu Bay Area should make the first phase of the project have the starting conditions before 2022 10 and 3 1. At the same time, 500 mu of land is reserved for the second phase of construction.
Sources of funds include but are not limited to government construction, self-raised funds, loans from financial institutions and project industry funds.
The two sides agreed that Wuhu Bay District Government should actively seek the relevant policy support of Anhui Province, Wuhu City and Bay Area for this project, and all the financial support funds of the provinces, municipalities and districts should be used to support the project development, and the above funds should not be used for other purposes, otherwise Wuhu has the right to cancel the support policy and require the company to return the financial support funds in one lump sum.

Among them, the maximum power of 2 10mm series module reaches 685W, that of 182mm series module reaches 575W, and the efficiency of N-type TOPCon module has completely exceeded 22%.

The eight billion yuan Wuhu investment agreement is actually only the second Topcon photovoltaic cell project planned by GCL.

According to the announcement, GCL integrates domestic and foreign high-quality industrial chain resources and invests in building a photovoltaic cell production base integrating R&D, production and sales in Leshan City. The total investment of the project is about 4.3 billion yuan (including working capital), which will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will build a 5GW photovoltaic cell project; Construction of 5GW photovoltaic cell project in the second phase. After the project is completed and put into production, the annual output value of 10GW photovoltaic cells is 8 billion.
The planned construction time is 202 1 5GW in two phases starting from the first half of the year, and the construction period will not exceed 8 months. It is expected to be put into production in February 20021and 65438+. The second phase, with a construction period of 5GW and no more than 8 months, is expected to be fully put into production before the end of the first half of 2022.
For this project, the company also announced on June 65438+1 October1day this year, and changed the use of some fixed-income raised funds to other projects and transferred them to Leshan photovoltaic cell project.
The company also made a feasibility study report on "Leshan Xiexin Integration 10GW Efficient Topcon Photovoltaic Cell Production Base (Phase I 5GW) Project". According to the report, the total investment of the project is 654.38+86.7 million yuan, including 654.38+64 million yuan for engineering construction and 226 million yuan for working capital. All the raised funds will be used for the capital expenditure of this project, and the rest will be solved by bank loans and self-raised funds.
However, judging from the construction progress, Leshan photovoltaic cell project is far behind the planning.
According to the mid-year report of 2022, the book value of the construction in progress of Leshan battery project as of the end of June this year is only 3.077 million yuan, which is almost unchanged for half a year compared with the data as of the end of 2002/kloc-0 (3.028 million yuan).
