Insurance consumers complain about insurance consumption to the China Insurance Regulatory Commission and its dispatched offices, which means that insurance consumers think that insurance institutions, insurance intermediaries and insurance practitioners violate laws, administrative regulations and the provisions of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission in insurance consumption activities, resulting in damage to their legitimate rights and interests, and report the situation to the China Insurance Regulatory Commission and its dispatched offices, and apply for them to perform their statutory regulatory duties.

Measures for the Administration of Handling Consumer Complaints in Banking and Insurance Industry

The China Banking Regulatory Commission is the supervisory unit for handling consumer complaints in the banking and insurance industries nationwide, and it supervises and guides the handling of consumer complaints in the banking and insurance industries nationwide.

The dispatched offices of China Banking Regulatory Commission (hereinafter referred to as CBRC) at all levels shall supervise and guide the handling of consumer complaints in the banking and insurance industries within their respective jurisdictions, and promote the establishment and improvement of diversified consumer dispute resolution mechanisms within their respective jurisdictions.

The banking insurance supervision and administration institution shall designate a supervision and administration department to handle consumer complaints of banking insurance institutions.

Banking insurance supervision and management institutions shall set up consumer complaint referral service channels to facilitate complainants to reflect consumer disputes to banking insurance institutions.
