Guangxi University for Nationalities was founded in 1952. Originally the Central University for Nationalities (now the Central University for Nationalities) Guangxi Branch. 1953 was renamed Guangxi University for Nationalities, 1958 was renamed Guangxi University for Nationalities, and in 2006 it was renamed Guangxi University for Nationalities. Guangxi University for Nationalities actively carries out scientific research and constantly promotes scientific and technological innovation. In recent five years, it has obtained 48 national scientific research projects/KLOC-0 (including 8 major projects of the National Social Science Fund) and 447 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects; Won 3 national scientific research achievement awards and 3 provincial and ministerial scientific research achievement awards 139; There are 1 national scientific research platform, 39 provincial and ministerial scientific research platforms and 12 bureau-level scientific research platforms. Journal of Guangxi University for Nationalities (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition) has successively won the honorary titles of "National Journal Award 100 Key Journals", "National Top 100 Newspapers" and "National Famous Journal of Social Sciences in Colleges and Universities". It is a source periodical of CSSCI, a Chinese core periodical, a national core periodical of humanities and social sciences and a periodical funded by the National Social Sciences Fund.
