Maintenance cost of residential fire protection facilities: maintenance fund or property fee?
According to the relevant laws and regulations, the maintenance cost of residential fire-fighting facilities should be paid by the maintenance fund, not by the property fee. Maintenance fund refers to the monthly fee paid by the owners of the community according to a certain proportion, which is earmarked for the maintenance and conservation of public facilities in the community. Property fees are mainly used for daily management and maintenance, cleaning and other expenses of the community. Therefore, if the residential fire protection facilities need maintenance, the maintenance fund shall pay the relevant expenses.
