When was the Whitney Houston Children's Fund established?
1989, Whitney, who won the reputation of "diva" in the international pop music world, established "Whitney Houston Foundation for Children, Inc." to provide assistance to homeless children, children with cancer or AIDS, and provide counseling to help teenagers realize their potential. 1In June, 1995, this foundation was awarded the "Glory Award" by the American music channel VH- 1.
