3 Main column requirements
3. 1 Summary
Mini-summary is published or written by experienced experts in the professional field, which is a hot field or topic in life science at present, with cutting-edge and progress; The topic is named after the subject words or sentences, and the content should be clearly expressed.
3.2 Research paper (research summary, technology and methods)
Research papers publish innovative research reports on basic and applied foundations in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. Chinese and English writing should use standardized technical terms, avoid daily spoken or spoken language, and be concise and clear. Chinese and English grammar is correct. Authors who are unfamiliar with scientific papers or English writing should seek the help of experienced people.
4. Standardization and standardization of manuscript format
4. 1 paper home page
(1) Titles and titles of authors and units are named by topic sentences, which contain clear information and require accuracy, conciseness and clarity. The name and zip code of the author and unit are correct.
(2) The abstract includes the research purpose, key technologies and methods, main achievements and conclusions.
(3) keywords reflect the core content of the article, generally 3 ~ 5.
(4) The classification number of China Library Classification gives the classification number of the research topic according to the China Library Classification (fourth edition).
(5) Footnotes Footnotes include: date of receipt and date of acceptance (to be filled in by editorial department); Sources of funds (funds) for research projects, such as major national basic research, scientific and technological research, national natural science foundation and other projects, and give the project number (Chinese-English translation); Telephone, telex and e-mail address of the contact person (in Chinese and English).
4.2 Document text
4.2. 1 Introduction
Summarize the research survey and background of related fields, including mainstream research trends and theories, and put forward the problems to be solved. The introduction should be accurate, objective, supported by literature, knowledgeable, valuable and enlightening.
(1) Use the terminology published by the National Committee for the Examination and Approval of Scientific and Technical Terminology. In addition to well-known abbreviations, when they appear 1 times in the text, the full Chinese name, the full English name and the English abbreviation should be written.
(2) Use legal physical quantities and units. For example, the molecular weight (relative molecular weight) is Mr, and the solution concentration unit is mol/L; The unit of heat is J (Joule), and the time is S (second), min (minute), H (hour) and D (day). R/min is used to represent revolutions per minute, and cpm can use abbreviations instead of units.
(3) The names of all chemical reagent substances, protein, nucleic acids or sites shall be written in accordance with international common standard symbols. For example, protein's English abbreviations should be in standard form, with the first letter capitalized or all capitalized; The first three letters of restriction endonuclease are italicized, and the English abbreviation of locus name is italicized.
Materials and methods
Provide experimental materials and methods. The description should be clear and accurate. The description of the method should be detailed and appropriate, and the key points should be prominent.
4.2.3 Results
The result is the focus of the paper, which should be highly summarized and refined and described by subheadings. Subtitles should reflect the main results. The research data are mainly expressed in the form of illustrations and tables.
(1) The chart should be self-explanatory, and the information given by the chart itself should be able to explain the problem to be expressed. All illustrations (including titles and notes) and tables (including titles and notes) should be expressed in English and placed in appropriate positions in the text. The table is in the form of three rows, with titles at the top and necessary English marks at the bottom.
(2) English illustrations should include the title, a brief description of the research system or materials and methods, as well as the necessary statistical processing and results, and have special illustrations, so that you can understand the outline of the paper only by reading English abstracts and English legends.
(3) Draw lines evenly, neither too thick nor too thin. Physical quantities and units should be expressed in ordinate and abscissa.
(4) The photos should be clear and symmetrical, with moderate contrast and a resolution of not less than 500 ppi, so as to achieve a higher printing effect. When adding text to a picture, first set the picture to an appropriate size (double columns should not exceed 7.5 cm), then set the resolution to 500 dpi, and finally add text with small five characters. The font should be Time New Romans.
(5) The molecular weight standard in the electrophoresis chart should give the standard value, aim at the electrophoresis strip, and indicate the position and molecular weight of the target product with arrows.
(6) The physical quantities in the chart should be represented by symbols of the dosage as much as possible, and the names of physical quantities should be separated from units by slashes.
(7) The average standard deviation in statistics is expressed by X-S. 。
(8) All illustrations should be in JPG or TIF format, and the histogram of statistical processing should be edited and processed in Excel.
4.2.4 Discussion
The discussion is based on the extension and expansion analysis of the results and documents, and it is the analysis and demonstration of the conclusion; Avoid repeating the description of the results. It can be described by a subtitle. If necessary, the results can be combined with the discussion.
4.2.5 The content of thanks should be simple and clear, otherwise there is no need to write.
