In 20 12 years, the school's scientific research projects continued to maintain a good momentum, and the number and level of projects were improved. By the end of 20 12 and 12, the Ministry of Science and Technology had initiated 693 new scientific research projects (including 249 vertical projects, 298 horizontal projects, and 146 projects funded by basic scientific research business expenses), and the actual scientific research funds were close to 360 million yuan (including 242 million vertical projects and 65,438 horizontal projects).
In 20 12, the school applied for the National Natural Science Foundation Project 3 1 1, and 66 projects were funded, including 2 key projects, with a total funding of 44.37 million yuan. Jieqing and Youqing each added 1, and the application and funding reached a new high.
This year, the school was funded by the National Social Science Fund for the first time. Our school 14 project was supported by the special research fund for doctoral programs in colleges and universities in 20 12, including 2 priority development projects, 5 doctoral tutor projects and 7 new teacher projects. The number of funded projects, funding rate and funding reached record highs. Four people were funded by the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Program, which was the year with the largest number of students selected. Three applications were funded by Beijing Natural Science Foundation, which was also the year with the largest number of funded projects over the years. The Beijing Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences supported two applications. Since the school officially started the basic scientific research business fee in 20 10, it has funded more than 300 young teachers and 20 graduate students, with a total funding of 42.49 million yuan. This year, the budget implementation rate reached 100% for the first time. The implementation of the basic scientific research service fee has stimulated the scientific research enthusiasm of young teachers in the school, created a good scientific research atmosphere, promoted the growth of young teachers, and played an important role in improving the comprehensive scientific research strength and promoting the sustainable development of scientific research in the school. In 20 12, the number of applications from NSFC, NSFC, NSFC in Beijing, humanities and social science projects from the Ministry of Education and social science projects in Beijing all increased exponentially, and the total number of SCI publications and international SCI publications far exceeded the historical level of the same period. 34 national natural science foundation projects were successfully completed, and the innovative team of "Oil and Gas Sedimentary Geology" of the Ministry of Education headed by Jiang Zaixing passed the acceptance.
Second, scientific research achievements and awards
1. The total number of SCI papers published by geological universities and scientific research units ranks first temporarily. According to the ISI data retrieval from 20 12 to 12, the university published 322 SCI papers, an increase of 37% compared with 235 papers in the same period last year. There are 224 international SCI papers, an increase of 52% compared with 147 in the same period last year; 92 papers were published in the list, up 33% from 69 in the same period last year. Up to now, the total number of SCI papers published by the school in geological universities and scientific research units ranks first temporarily.
2. The National Science and Technology Progress Award made a breakthrough. According to the online publicity results of relevant departments, the school won the first prize 1 and the second prize 1 of the Land and Resources Science and Technology Award as the first completion unit, and the first prize 1 and the second prize 1 as the cooperative unit. The achievements of the project "Establishment of Metallogenic System Theory and Exploration Practice" presided by Academician Zhai Yusheng have passed the defense of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and it is expected to make a breakthrough, ending the history that the school has not won the prize as the first completed unit since its establishment. Academician Zhai Yusheng won the 20 12 He Liang Heli Fund Science and Technology Progress Award.
3. New achievements have been made in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. In the application of patent and software copyright, we have carefully studied the supporting patent application, achievement transfer and technology transformation reward system of the state and various provinces and cities, and organized and participated in the docking exchange meeting of scientific and technological achievements such as the Science and Technology Information Network of Capital University, in order to support and encourage teachers and students in the school to transform scientific and technological achievements, and achieved remarkable results. Professor Hongwen Ma's two invention patents have been transformed into achievements, and the license fee for patent implementation has actually reached 6 million yuan.
4. Timely award of science and technology awards. According to "China Geo University (Beijing) Award Method for Publicly Published Academic Papers", 830,000 yuan has been awarded for scientific papers in the second half of 201/kloc-0, and nearly 1.2 million yuan has been awarded for scientific papers in the first half of 20 12. In 20 12, we organized and participated in two national exhibitions, namely, China International Industry Fair in 20 12 and China (Changsha) Science and Technology Achievements Transformation Fair in 20 12. Among them, at the 20 12 China International Industry Fair, the school organized and selected seven scientific and technological achievements with complete intellectual property rights and suitable for "Industry-University-Research" cooperation to participate in the China University Exhibition Area, and won three awards. Among them, the "New Treatment Device for Oilfield Fracturing Wastewater" developed by Professor Feng of the Institute of Water Environment and the "Downhole Closed-loop High-precision Rotary Steering Drilling Tool" developed by the research team of the Institute of Engineering won the second and third prizes of "Excellent Exhibit Award" in the university exhibition area, and the school won the "Excellent Organization Award" in the university exhibition area.
