On the morning of July 27th, the Charity Federation of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone held a donation ceremony for the 22nd anniversary of two charitable projects: "Emergency Relief" and "Warm Campus". The "Emergency Relief" project is a municipal and district-level charity relief project aimed at low-income families in trouble due to emergencies and major diseases, and provides strong support for them to get out of trouble as soon as possible. In the first half of this year, in order to ensure that eligible needy people can get timely relief, charity workers in high-tech zones went deep into first-line villages (communities) to interpret project policies for eligible needy people and help them fill out relief materials, regardless of the cold and heat. At the issuing ceremony, 25 needy people in the jurisdiction received 229,500 yuan of charity aid at the municipal and district levels.

The project of "Warm Campus" is to help students from poor families in High-tech Zone to enter school normally and finish their studies smoothly, and to create an equal and high-quality educational environment for poor students. With the government's administrative funding, through investigation with the Teaching Management Section of the Social Affairs Bureau of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone Management Committee, the project helps poor primary and secondary school students 1 person in the jurisdiction, and uses charitable funds 1 10,000 yuan.

It is understood that Zhengzhou High-tech Zone Charity Federation was established in July this year 1 1, and consists of 45 caring enterprises in the High-tech Zone. Practicing the purpose of charity, the Charity Federation actively carried out the charity activities that the needy people urgently needed, based on their own duties, constantly expanded the service field, expanded the service coverage, and widely mobilized social forces to promote all kinds of charity, thus creating a new situation of charity in high-tech zones.

The relevant person in charge of the Charity Federation of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone said that the next step will be to deepen the joint rescue mechanism of charitable organizations at all levels under the leadership of the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of the High-tech Zone and under the guidance of the provincial and municipal charity federations, and increase the investment in charity funds to provide more appropriate and timely rescue services for the needy groups in the jurisdiction. The Charity Law of the People's Republic of China came into effect on February 1 September/6. In order to better regulate charitable activities in accordance with the law and protect the legitimate rights and interests of charitable organizations, donors, volunteers, beneficiaries and other charitable participants, the Social Affairs Bureau of Zhengzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee proposed to formally establish the Zhengzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone Charity Federation, and now recruits members for the whole region. Abide by the Constitution, laws, regulations and national policies, abide by social ethics, mobilize and organize forces from all walks of life, raise charitable funds and materials, play a supplementary role in supporting the elderly, helping the poor and the social security system, and promote the healthy development of economic construction and social civilization.

The members of the Charity Federation are composed of unit members. All legal entities that are enthusiastic about charity, recognize the articles of association, support the work of the association, implement the resolutions of the association, safeguard the rights and interests of the association, and are willing to fulfill their membership obligations may become members of the Charity Federation after voluntary application, recommendation or invitation and passing the examination. Member units enjoy the right to vote, be elected and vote, participate in various activities organized by the Association, * * * enjoy the charity resources of the Association, get priority services from the Association, supervise the work of the Association and other member rights stipulated in the Association's articles of association, and perform corresponding obligations in accordance with the provisions of the Association's articles of association.
