Liaoning Normal University is a provincial key university, located in Dalian, a beautiful coastal city in the north of China.

Liaoning Normal University was established in August of 195 1. Since its establishment more than 50 years ago, * * * has trained more than 80,000 talents of all kinds for the country and made great contributions to the reform and development of basic education in Liaoning. At present, the school has developed into a training center for basic education teachers, educational research and university teachers in Liaoning Province.

The campus covers an area of more than 800 mu, the school building area is 420,000 square meters, the fixed assets are 514.376 million yuan, and the library has 654,380+0.33 million books. There are 20 colleges, 47 undergraduate majors, 1 affiliated middle schools and 1 vocational secondary schools. Liaoning Language Application Center, Study Abroad Service Center, Distance Education Center, National Informatization (Authorized) Training Center, Southwest Missouri State University, Liaoning Normal University, Haihua College, etc. There are 0/897 faculty members/kloc, and 952 full-time teachers, including 0/80 professors/kloc, 342 associate professors and 320 lecturers. At present, there are 0/4000 undergraduate students, 0/300 doctoral and master students, 885 in-service students studying for master's degree in education, 8,500 adult education students and 600 foreign students.

Liaoning Normal University has established the guiding ideology of "discipline construction as the leading factor, teaching and scientific research as the wing of Qi Fei", "stick to the direction, keep a correct position, give full play to advantages, deepen reform, strengthen management and improve quality", and constructed a new talent training model of "broad foundation, high quality, specialization and wide adaptability". The school won the first prize 1, the second prize 6, the excellent prize 1, the second prize 2, the third prize 1 and the provincial excellent teaching achievement prize 32 for the experimental research project of basic education reform in normal universities. Since 199 1, a total of 22 national scientific research projects 1 have been approved, including "National 863 Project"1,53 national natural science foundation projects and 8 national social science foundation projects1,and 605 provincial and municipal scientific research projects have been approved and won the municipal level.
