You can file a complaint with the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC), which was established on November 18, 1998. It is an institution directly under the State Council.
Perform administrative functions in accordance with the authorization of the State Council, uniformly supervise and manage the national insurance market in accordance with laws and regulations, and maintain the legal and stable operation of the insurance industry.
In 2003, the State Council decided to change the China Insurance Regulatory Commission from a deputy ministerial-level public institution directly under the State Council to a ministerial-level public institution directly under the State Council, and correspondingly increased the number of functional departments, dispatched offices and personnel.
The China Insurance Regulatory Commission has 15 functional agencies and 35 dispatch offices in various provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and cities under separate state planning across the country.
Among them, 15 internal departments are: (1) General Office (Party Committee Office, Board of Supervisors Work Department).
