The Study of Three Rites in Zheng Xuan is the final research result of the National Social Science Fund Project "The Study of Three Rites in Zheng Xuan" (approval number: BZS1) presided over by Professor Yang Tianyu of Zhengzhou University, with 77, words and published by China Social Sciences Publishing House.
Three Rites (Zhou Li, Yi Li, Li Ji) are the basic documents of Chinese ancient ritual culture. Zheng Xuan's Notes on the Three Rites, which is the source of ancient Chinese etiquette studies, remains intact and has high academic value. It is of great significance to study the Notes on Three Rites for inheriting and carrying forward the excellent cultural traditions of the Chinese nation. However, there are few works devoted to the Notes on Three Rites so far.
This achievement is divided into three parts: general discussion, collation and exegesis. It makes a comprehensive and systematic study of Zheng Xuan's brief introduction to San Li Zhu and puts forward some novel academic viewpoints. The "General Theory" studies Zheng Xuan and his Notes on Three Rites as a whole, affirms the important position of Zheng Xuan and his Notes on Three Rites in the history of Confucian Classics and Rites, and points out some problems in the Notes on Three Rites. "Collation and Compilation" focuses on Zheng Xuan's collating of three rites, and sums up the regulations and principles of Zheng Xuan's collating of three rites. The exegetical chapter mainly studies the terms such as "reading as", "reading as", "reading as", "reading as", "acting as", "mistakes in sound" and "mistakes in words" used in Annotations to Three Rites, and identifies how Zheng Xuan used these terms under what circumstances.
experts believe that this achievement "is an important breakthrough in the study of San Li Zhu, which has filled the gap in this field in recent decades". Zheng Xuan's brief introduction "is conducive to further understanding and understanding of San Li Zhu, and has important reference significance for the study of etiquette and even Chinese traditional culture and the collation and research of ancient books".
