On October 6, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Benjamin Lister and David Macmillan.

On October 7, the Nobel Prize for Literature was awarded to Abdul Razak Qurna.

On October 8, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Maria Resha and Dmitry Muratov.

On October 11, the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences was awarded to David Card, Joshua D. Angrist and Guido W. Inbens.
