What daily necessities can I buy with my medical insurance card?
Article 19 of the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of the Use of Medical Insurance Funds stipulates that medical insurance cards cannot buy any daily necessities. According to relevant information, the medical insurance card is not a bank card. It can only be used for medical treatment and drug purchase, but not for paper towels, skin care products, milk powder, tea and other items, reselling drugs or withdrawing cash. Designated medical institutions, especially pharmacies, cannot provide convenience for the above illegal profit-making behavior. Article 19 of the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of the Use of Medical Insurance Funds stipulates that the insured shall not resell drugs, accept cash or physical return or obtain other illegal benefits by taking advantage of the medical insurance benefits. Designated medical institutions shall not provide convenience for the insured to resell drugs, and shall not accept cash or physical return or obtain other illegal benefits by enjoying medical security benefits.
