Accordingly, industrial projects in the fields of high-end manufacturing and people's livelihood services such as Baoneng New Energy Automobile Project and Xiajiabaoneng Science Park Project will be settled in Kunshan. At the same time, the two sides will establish strategic cooperation in the field of automobile e-commerce sales.
Among them, Baoneng New Energy Vehicle Project is the first vehicle project introduced by Kunshan, including Baoneng Automobile Research Institute, Baoneng Automobile Production Line, spare parts production base and automobile industry development fund, which is a key supplement and important promotion to Kunshan IT and related manufacturing industry chain. Yao Zhenhua, chairman of Baoneng Group, said that Baoneng regards new energy vehicles as the core industry of strategy implementation.
According to the new media, Baoneng Group has been actively exploring the automobile business since last year. In February last year, Baoneng Group acquired 5 1% equity of Qoros Automobile for 6.63 billion yuan, becoming the largest shareholder of Qoros Automobile, and plans to invest 6,543.8 billion yuan every year in five years.
Since then, Baoneng Group has successively built four new energy automobile and parts production bases in Hangzhou, Kunming, Guangzhou and Xixian New Area, Shaanxi, with a total investment of nearly 100 billion yuan. According to public information, Baoneng has planned an annual production capacity of more than 2.3 million vehicles in the early stage of new energy plants in these four places, and the investment in car-making plans has already exceeded 100 billion.
