Is the fund closed at 3 pm?
The trading hours of funds are similar to those of stocks. The trading day is usually 9:30- 1 1:30, 13:00- 15:00, so the funds will not continue to rise or fall after 3 pm. For OTC funds, the net value of the day will not be announced until the evening.
The average investor redeems the fund before three o'clock, and uses the net value of the fund announced that night to calculate the profit and loss of the fund held by the investor. If the fund is redeemed after three o'clock, the net value announced in the evening of the next trading day will be used to calculate the fund gains and losses held by investors.
Fund net value update time
Because the estimated net fund value stays at that value after three o'clock, it will not change. Generally, the net fund value will be updated after the stock is closed (trading day 16:00 pm -22:00 pm), and the income will be displayed after the update, and the fund income will generally be seen on the second trading day.
For general fund products, such as money funds and bond funds. The newly purchased fund will not generate income until the share is confirmed by the fund company on T+ 1 day, and the income will be updated after the next trading day 15:00.
