The 12 summit was held in June 2004 at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad, Pakistan. The meeting adopted the Islamabad Declaration and signed a series of documents, such as the Framework Treaty of South Asian Free Trade Agreement, the Additional Protocol to the SAARC Convention on Combating Terrorism and the South Asian Social Charter.
