China Legal Aid Foundation is a public offering foundation approved by the State Council and legally registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 1997. At present, it is the only national public offering foundation dedicated to the development of legal aid in China. The purpose of China Legal Aid Foundation is to ensure that all citizens enjoy equal judicial protection and safeguard the basic rights granted to citizens by law. The main task is to raise legal aid funds, provide material support for the implementation of legal aid, promote judicial justice and safeguard social fairness and justice.
