Ye Gengnian used to be the chairman of Hong Kong Xinchang Group Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Xinchang Construction Factory Co., Ltd., the managing director of Hong Kong Xinchang Real Estate Company, the director of Jianfeng Insurance Co., Ltd. and the permanent director of Jian 'an Insurance Co., Ltd., and also founded Ye Gengnian Education Foundation, serving as the president of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Hometown Association, which runs Jiangsu and Zhejiang primary schools. He is very concerned about the construction in the mainland and has donated money to help his hometown develop education and construction.
