Achievements of State Key Laboratory of Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering (Wuhan Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences)
During the construction period, the laboratory undertook more than 200 projects, such as "973" plan, "863" plan, supporting plan, National Natural Science Foundation of China, important directional projects of knowledge innovation project of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and major national construction projects. More than 300 papers, 6 monographs and 6 books were published in the three major searches; Participate in 10 industry standard specification; Obtained more than 100 invention patents, utility model patents and software licenses; Won 4 national science and technology awards and 18 provincial and ministerial awards; Undertaking and co-organizing 9 international and domestic academic conferences. Great progress has been made in the establishment and simulation of multi-field coupling model of geotechnical media, slope stability analysis method, intelligent rock mechanics, collapse mechanism and control technology of cavity-forming interlayer in underground oil and gas storage, and research and development of CO2 geological storage technology. And the related technologies of geotechnical mechanics are applied to solve large-scale geotechnical engineering problems, which has achieved remarkable social and economic benefits.
