1. What is the difference between the serious illness insurance and social security of the new rural cooperative medical system?
1. The insured objects are different.
(1). The medical insurance for serious illness of the new rural cooperative medical system: residents who can only apply for rural hukou, are at least 16 years old (excluding students at school) and have not participated in the basic old-age insurance for employees. The expenses are not borne by individuals, but paid directly by the new rural cooperative medical fund, which is a kind of medical insurance.
(2) Social security: All workers are mainly funded by the contributions of employers and individual workers, and the government gives subsidies.
2. Payment is different
(1). New rural cooperative medical insurance for serious illness: paid annually. Funded by individuals, collectives and the government (the whole family should participate). Because the state has different medical insurance subsidies in different regions, the new rural cooperative medical system is also very regional. The average annual payment of new farmers in China is around 200 yuan, which is relatively cheap.
(2) Social security: it is paid monthly, and the expenses are shared by the employer and employees according to the specified payment base and proportion * * *, and the payment proportion and amount vary greatly in different regions. Because social security includes five insurances, the payment is much higher than that of the new rural cooperative medical system. The minimum payment is 1000 yuan, and the payment amount will be linked to the salary level. The higher the salary, the more expenses will be paid.
3. The insurance period is different.
(1). New rural cooperative medical system (NCMS): the fee is paid once a year. At present, the country has not stipulated the insurance period of the new rural cooperative medical system, that is, you can enjoy the reimbursement treatment if you pay it, but you can't enjoy it if you don't pay it.
(2) Social security: the old-age insurance needs to be paid continuously 15 years; 25 years for men and 20 years for women; Only when unemployment insurance payment reaches 1 year can you enjoy insurance benefits.
4. Different scope of use
(1). New rural cooperative medical system: At present, farmers participating in the new rural cooperative medical system can only see a doctor in the province across regions. Generally speaking, hospitalization can be reimbursed, and a few cities can also be reimbursed for medical treatment.
(2). Social security: widely used. For example, it can be used for registration, medical treatment, medicine purchase, hospitalization, auxiliary examination and so on. Auxiliary examinations such as Lian Xin EEG, X-ray fluoroscopy, radiography, laboratory examination, physiotherapy and acupuncture can all be reimbursed.
2. Is there any conflict between 2.NCMS serious illness insurance and social security?
The new rural cooperative medical system and social security cannot be reimbursed at the same time. If you pay two insurances at the same time, you can only choose one of them for reimbursement, because both are welfare medical insurance.
