Since he took office, he has published his personal monograph (270,000 words, China University of Political Science and Law Press, 1999 edition), which is included in the "Jimen Fayuan" library. During his current term, he was rated as an excellent teacher many times or was rated as excellent in the annual assessment. Because of its outstanding scientific research achievements, 1998 was named "Cross-century Academic Backbone of Hubei Province".
