Scope and conditions of participating in Shanghai Children's Hospitalization Medical Insurance Fund

(a) registered students (children) in nurseries, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools (including technical secondary schools, technical schools, vocational schools and special schools) established according to law within the city.

(2) Preschool children who have registered in this Municipality and are not enrolled in kindergartens (including children of those who have reached the standard points in the Shanghai Residence Permit, hereinafter referred to as "children of those who have reached the standard points").

(3) Disabled children and dropouts (including children of qualified personnel) registered in this city and under the age of 18 (referring to those born on or after September 1 2004).
