From 1996 to 1999, he was a doctoral student in the Department of Urology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen Medical University, where he studied under the famous urology expert Professor Mei Hua. From 1999 to 2001, he was a postdoctoral student in surgical anatomy at the First Military Medical University, where he studied under the famous anatomist, Academician Zhong Shizhen.

Specialized in endourology (TUVP, laparoscopic ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephroscopy), urodynamic urinary diversion and neobladder surgery.

In 1990, we began to carry out "transurethral resection of the prostate". In 1997, we were the first to carry out "transurethral vaporization of prostate" in China; in 2000, we were the first to carry out "transurethral plasma vaporization of prostate" in Asia. Now we have completed the prostate cavity.

More than 4,600 cases of internal resection were performed. In 1995, "simplified ureteroscopy" was carried out to treat ureteral stones and ureteral stricture, and it was quickly promoted and applied in South China. In 1998, it was the first in China to carry out male bulbocavernosus suspension to treat men after prostatectomy.

Urinary continence. In 1999, a "somatic nerve-visceral nerve" reflex arc was carried out to treat urinary and fecal dysfunction in patients with spina bifida myelomeningocele. In 2002, a retroperitoneoscopic intracapsular resection of severely infected adhesive non-functioning kidneys was carried out.

Microscopic nerve-sparing total cystectomy and sigmoid colon in situ bladder surgery. In the past five years, he has undertaken 3 scientific research and teaching funds at the provincial and ministerial levels, published 36 papers, and edited 1 audio-visual textbook on the diagnosis and treatment of prostatic hyperplasia, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Health.

Published and distributed nationwide, participated in the preparation of 2 monographs, and won the third prize of the China Association for Science and Technology Audiovisual Teaching Materials, the second prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the Army Film and Television Textbook Production Award, and the third prize of the Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award.
