China Association for Health Care for the Aged is a national social organization approved by the Chinese people and the Ministry of Civil Affairs and headed by the Ministry of Health. It was established in 1995. The chairman is Comrade Qian Xinzhong, former Minister of Health. On March 17th, 21, the second member congress and Council elected and reported to the competent department for approval, with Li Shen as the president (legal representative) and Geng Jingzhong as the vice president and secretary general.

this association is composed of a group of medical health care experts, scholars, social activists, entrepreneurs and people of insight who are engaged in health care for the elderly. The purpose of the association is to carry forward the traditional virtues of respecting, respecting and loving the elderly of the Chinese nation and serve the physical and mental health of the elderly in the whole society wholeheartedly.

tasks of the association:

(1) to publicize and popularize the knowledge of health care for the elderly. Give full play to the role of experts and scholars and publicize the knowledge of prevention and treatment of common diseases to the majority of middle-aged and elderly friends.

(2) Training professionals and workers in health care and disease prevention. To carry out investigation and research on community medical and health care services and health care for the elderly, and provide the basis for relevant departments to formulate policies; Carry out academic exchanges, set up popular science newspapers and periodicals, and publish relevant books.

Business scope of the Association:

The Association carries out health product promotion projects and recommends health-related products to the society.

The Association consists of an expert committee, an enterprise council, a special fund management committee, several branches, representative offices and subordinate offices.

The magazine Health World, which is in charge of and sponsored by the Association, has been changed from a monthly magazine to a semi-monthly magazine, which has attracted the attention and welcome of the society.

The Association develops group members and individual members, and welcomes people who are enthusiastic about the health care for the elderly to actively join the Association and contribute to the development of the health care for the elderly. The Red Health Walk is sponsored by China Geriatric Health Care Association and China Health Foundation, and health talks are held nationwide. The main purpose is to publicize the knowledge of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, reduce the incidence, recurrence, mortality and disability rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and promote the construction of people's healthy and harmonious society!
