The structure of intelligent greenhouse, precision seeding mechanism and performance test of seeder, and deep processing machinery of agricultural products were deeply studied. He has successively presided over the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Education Department "Mechanism and Experimental Research on Magnetic Precision Seed-metering", three agricultural machinery projects in Jiangsu Province "Development of lotus root mechanized slicing and processing machinery", participated in Jiangsu Ninth Five-Year Plan "Research on complete sets of intelligent greenhouse facilities, environmental control and efficient cultivation technology" and the fifteenth major agricultural science and technology research "Intelligent greenhouse research and industrial development". In order to meet the needs of precision seeding of small vegetable seeds, he invented and created a new type of magnetic precision seed-metering principle and device, which was authorized by the national invention patent. He has published more than 20 academic papers, compiled 2 teaching materials, won 9 national patents, won the third prize of 1 Jiangsu Province's teaching and scientific research achievements (first), the first prize of the Ministry of Education's scientific and technological progress (eighth), the second prize of Jiangsu Province's scientific and technological progress, the second prize of the Machinery Industry Federation's scientific and technological progress (ranked seventh and eighth) and the second prize of Jiangsu Province's scientific and technological achievements appraisal. At present, he is in charge of 1 project of Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation, 2 agricultural machinery projects in Jiangsu Province, participating in 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation under research, 1 project of National 863 Scientific Research Fund, 1 project of key scientific research fund of provincial universities, and 1 project of doctoral program fund of Ministry of Education.
