The fund qualification examination is held 5-7 times a year, 3 of which are national unified examinations, and the rest of the examination time and times are determined by local fund institutions. Generally, the exam is held four times, and the national unified exam is held simultaneously in provincial capitals and key cities.

The number of fund qualification examinations is not fixed. There are many fund qualification examinations every year, and the number of fund qualification examinations is 5~7, of which 3 are national unified examinations. The number of national unified examinations is relatively large, and the scale of examinations is also relatively large. Other examinations are held by relevant local departments.

There are three subjects in subject 1 * * * of the fund qualification examination, namely, subject 1 fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business norms, subject 2 basic knowledge of securities investment funds, and subject 3 basic knowledge of private investment funds.

According to the regulations, subject one is compulsory and the other two are optional. Candidates only need to pass subject one plus subject two or subject one plus subject three. The first subject is relatively basic and less difficult, mainly some common fund regulations and related business processes.

Note: Candidates who are forbidden to take the unified examination of securities and futures and the securities post examination due to violation of discipline cannot apply for the qualification examination of fund practitioners during the prohibition period.
