1. age limit: female researchers are under 35 years old (inclusive) on June 1 of the current year, and may be relaxed to 40 years old in some years. Please refer to the project guide issued by the National Natural Science Foundation of China that year for the specific age limit.

2. Education: On-the-job personnel with doctoral degrees or senior professional and technical positions (titles).

3. Working years: The applicant should have basic research experience and a certain foundation of preliminary research.

4. Supporting units: enterprises and institutions such as institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions with legal personality in Chinese mainland.

5. Integrity record: applicants and participants should abide by the ethical standards of scientific research and have a good integrity record of scientific research.
