The Measures for the Administration of Special Maintenance Funds for Residential Buildings stipulates that the unit selling houses shall withdraw the special maintenance funds for residential buildings at one time according to the principle that the sales funds for multi-storey houses are not less than 20% and the sales funds for high-rise houses are not less than 30%, so there is a difference between high-rise and multi-storey maintenance funds.
The purpose of special maintenance funds for houses is to repair, update and transform the parts and facilities of houses after the warranty period expires, and shall not be used for other purposes.
