If you regret after applying for organ donation, you can go to the relevant department to cancel the application.
Organ donation is an act of charity.
Organ donation is to donate a still viable organ of the body to another person or medical school who needs transplantation treatment. These people often have very severe cases that are no longer curable with other treatments. In the 1960s, various transplants such as heart, kidney, liver, pancreas, lung, small intestine and abdominal multi-organ combined transplantation have been successfully performed in the world.
The scope of organ donation includes cell donation, tissue donation and organ donation.
Relevant laws stipulate that citizens who donate human organs should have a written donation intention, and have the right to revoke their expressed willingness to donate their human organs.
Recipients of living organs are limited to the living organ donor’s spouse, direct blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations, or persons with evidence proving that they have a familial relationship with the living organ donor due to assistance, etc.
No organization or individual may harvest living organs from citizens under the age of 18 for transplantation.
If a citizen expresses his disagreement with donating his or her human organs during his or her lifetime, no organization or individual may donate or remove the citizen’s human organs.
If a citizen has not expressed disagreement with donating his or her human organs during his or her lifetime, after the death of the citizen, his or her spouse, adult children, or parents may express their consent in writing to donate the citizen's human organs. Note: If a citizen dies, his spouse, adult children and parents must give written consent.
