When applying for the completion of various projects of the National Social Science Fund, two copies of documents shall be submitted. China Knowledge Network (CNKI) must be used for duplicate checking reports, and other submitted reports are invalid. The paper version of CNKI test report provided by the project host must be signed by the searcher of the testing unit and stamped with the official seal of the unit.

Established in 1986, the National Social Science Fund is responsible for formulating the long-term and annual plans of the national philosophy and social science research, managing the National Social Science Fund, organizing evaluation and project establishment, mid-term management, achievement acceptance, publicity and promotion.
