Review the regulations on fund supervision
As we all know, there are three subjects in the fund industry, of which subject one is a compulsory subject, and subject two and subject three are elective subjects. In the annual exam, most candidates are struggling to choose subject 2 or subject 3. Let's have a look.

Characteristics of each subject of fund employment examination

The first subject of fund practice (fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business norms) mainly examines the basic laws and regulations and professional ethics norms of the fund industry, and the content is relatively simple and does not involve calculation problems. Mainly rely on reciting and understanding basic concepts, laws and regulations. It is a compulsory course for fund practitioners.

The second section of fund practice (basic knowledge of securities investment funds) mainly involves financial knowledge, and there are many calculation problems. It is difficult to examine the comprehensive ability of calculation and analysis, involving fund expenses, fund investment, bonds, stocks, investment theory, valuation and so on. The content of the examination is mainly related to the knowledge of Public Offering of Fund, and it is an optional subject.

Fund business subject III (basic knowledge of private equity investment funds) is similar to the combination of subject I and subject II, not the coincidence of knowledge points, but its knowledge system is legal+financial knowledge. It mainly involves private placement laws and regulations that are not available in subject 1, and financial knowledge also involves private placement financial knowledge that is not available in subject 2. The examination content is mainly aimed at the knowledge content related to private placement, and it is an elective subject. In terms of scores, subject 3 accounts for 70%, financial knowledge accounts for 30%, and calculation questions will also be tested, but the difficulty is generally lower and moderate than subject 2, but the applicability is not high, which is only suitable for private equity funds.

How to choose the examination subjects for fund employment?

Subject 1 is compulsory, and subject 2 and subject 3 are selected as one subject. If you pass subject one+two or subject one+three, you will be eligible for the fund.

From the comparison of inspection difficulty: if you only need to get the certificate, choose subject 1+subject 3, because subject 3 is simpler than subject 2.

The teaching materials used in the second subject of the fund employment examination, Basic Knowledge of Securities Investment Funds, are chapters 6- 15, 17- 19, 27 and *** 14 of Volume I and II of Securities Investment Funds. There are some subjects in science and engineering, involving fund investment transaction and settlement, fund valuation, expenses and accounting. The topic setting pays attention to practical operation, and it is difficult to investigate and calculate, so the pass rate of subject 2 is low.

Subject III Equity Investment Fund is the textbook of equity investment funds, which consists of ten chapters, including the overview of equity investment funds, the operation practice of equity investment funds, the government supervision of equity investment funds, and industry self-discipline.

70% of the topics in the topic setting are relatively simple, but in recent years, more and more practical investigations have become more and more comprehensive, which requires candidates to master what they have learned flexibly, and there are also calculation problems. Compared with subject 2, it is simpler and has fewer calculation problems, but it is also more difficult than subject 1.

So subject three is relatively simple. If you just want to get a certificate, choose subject three.

From the analysis of gold content (scope of application), subject 2 is widely used and has high gold content.
