The All-China Women's Federation, the full name of which is the All-China Women's Federation, is a social mass organization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, where women of all ethnic groups and all walks of life unite for further liberation. It is widely representative, mass and social. The All-China Women's Federation is the bridge and link between the China Communist Party and the China government, and it is one of the important social pillars of the state power. Founded in March of 1949, the original name was "All-China Democratic Women's Federation", 1957 was renamed "All-China Women's Federation", and 1978 was renamed "All-China Women's Federation". Its basic functions are: uniting and mobilizing women to participate in economic construction and social development, representing and safeguarding women's interests and promoting gender equality.

The internal organs of the All-China Women's Federation are: General Office, Organization Department, Propaganda Department, Women's Development Department, Rights and Interests Department, Family and Children's Work Department, Liaison Department, the State Council Women and Children's Work Committee Office, Party Committee and Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres.

Directly affiliated units are: Women's Institute, China Women's Magazine, China Children's Center, China Women's Publishing House, China Women's Newspaper, China Women's Foreign Language Periodical, China Women's College, China Women's Activity Center, Office Service Center, All-China Women's Federation Talent Development Training Center, China Children's and Teenagers' Foundation, China Women's Development Foundation, China Women's Travel Agency and China Women and Children's Museum.
